About meClaus Dethlefsen, born 24th December 1971 in Gug near Aalborg (Denmark), grew up in Hadsund and live in Gistrup close to Aalborg. I work as senior Biostatistician at the Center for Cardiovascular Research at Aalborg Hospital, Aarhus University Hospital. I obtained my B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. titles from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Aalborg University. For information about my research, visit my publication page. |
I have been bitten by the travel bug. In 1994 I spent 6 months in
Indonesia and Malaysia. In 1998-1999 I was funded by the Danish
Travel Grant
for Mathematicians and travelled in New Zealand, Fiji and
Canada. In 2000 I spent 6 months in England and in 2001-2002 I
was a frequent visitor in Italy. Travelling has seeded my interests for
Photography and Diving. Unfortunately, my skills in playing the
trumpet have been reduced a bit...
