Aalborg is served by an airport with very frequent connections to the International Airport of Copenhagen (travelling time approx. 45 minutes). In addition, Aalborg Airport has international connections to Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Frankfurt, London, Oslo, Paris, Stockholm and Venice, most of them with a stopover at Billund.

Connections to Aalborg by road and by train are also good. There is a motorway all the way between Aalborg and the German border (about 290 km). Aalborg is on the main Jutland rail line and has direct train connections with Copenhagen and Hamburg.
